Degeneration prevention

Move better for longer

Also known as osteoarthritis, spinal degeneration is the long-term effect of not keeping spinal joints moving freely throughout your life. It consists of disc degeneration and bone growth which start to restrict and ultimately strangle the nervous system as it passes through the spine.

Studies have shown that within as little as 14 days, microscopic changes begin in the vicinity of a joint that has been immobilized. Whilst this degeneration cannot be restored back to the original shape and size, it can be prevented by regular visits to a chiropractor to maintain correct spinal joint movement between vertebrae.
