Injury prevention

Prevention is better than a cure

A misaligned or fixed vertebral joint in the spine is a weak link, and often where injury strikes. Disc injuries and strained muscles are often the result of underlying spinal joints not functioning effectively.

When joints do not move as required, discs cannot absorb the nutrients they require and degenerate. Muscles tighten involuntarily to protect the biomechanical dysfunction.

Stressing a weakened disc or muscle through minimal exercise, an insignificant movement or a poor posture, can then lead to injury.
